Goodreads Synopsis: Sequel to Pretty Crooked...

Willa Fox was told to stay out of trouble. In fact, it was an order from a very serious juvenile court judge.

However, that was before Willa found her house ransacked and a mysterious email from her mother telling Willa she had to leave Paradise Valley for a while and not to come looking for her. Willa knows her mom’s in danger and that no one at school will miss her after her recent sticky-fingered stunts with the Glitterati. So with the help of her pal Tre and with her degenerate crush Aidan as her wingman, Willa violates her probation and hits the California highway in search of her mom.

But when Willa and Aidan’s journey turns dangerously criminal and they wind up being the focus of a national manhunt, they realize it’s sometimes easier to escape the law than the truth—and that everything Willa thought she knew about her mom, and her life, was wrong.
Pretty Sly is Elisa Ludwig’s fast-paced sequel to Pretty Crooked, the second book in a trilogy that’s pitch-perfect for fans of Ally Carter. With a daring heroine who has one-of-a-kind spunk, a roller-coaster Bonnie and Clyde romance, a thrilling mystery, and a shocking twist ending, this book will have readers rooting for Willa as she makes the wrong choices to do the right thing. Fans will be eagerly awaiting the series conclusion.

From Goodreads

In Pretty Sly, the stakes are higher for Willa and Aiden. Pretty Sly was more action packed, suspenseful, and full of stunning revelations, it was one of my fav's so far in 2013! Elissa Ludwig also brings in her great witty writing paired with Willa's determination and sweet romance with Aiden makes a worthy sequel. Also, it was a light book that you can easily pick up too, easy on the romance and focus on the action.

One thing that hooked me and reader about Pretty Sly is how fast paced it is. Elissa spends no time getting to the action and suspense. Willa is now on the run to find her mom who turns out to be more than what she knows. She's on probation and her whole house was ransacked by a mysterious person and she wants answers. Willa is also struggling inside about her life and the choices she makes on her journey with her wingman Aiden Murphy. Aiden was a great character in Pretty Sly, and we see way more of him than in the first. I loved Pretty Sly because of the characters! In addition  there was so much more things we discover that add stress to the characters and I liked seeing how Elissa played things out.

Pretty Sly had a that wild goose chase feel and I thought it was done good, but I was left with many questions hanging with what happens after. There's also a balance with the action and some loveable scenes in Pretty Sly that was done perfectly. I loved how Willa got the strength and courage to actually go and find her mom even if she stole items or broke into house. Even Tre and Cherise who come and help Willa and Aiden were great. Also, I loved seeing how Sly Fox grew and all the little things we see throughout the whole book.

Pretty Sly was definitely sly than the first book. Willa and Aiden go through a lot more, finding secrets hidden in Willa's past. It was a perfect blend of action, hints of romance, and a book about finding the pretty and good among the sly and the crooked. Definitely pick up Pretty Crooked now get started on this great series!
